How to Get Military Discounts?
The first thing to remember is that every store that offers military discounts has its own policy. Some only offer discounts to those who are on active duty, while others include spouses and children. Others also include retirees, and some will give discounts to veterans who left the military before reaching retirement. Always check the terms and conditions to see whether you qualify.
Of course, just saying you’re in the military or that you fit in with any other requirements won’t get you a discount. Proof of service, usually in the form of a military ID card, is required.
